Remember the Maine


Ingredients

  • 2 oz Rye Whiskey
  • 3/4 oz Sweet Vermouth
  • 1/2 oz Cherry liqueur
  • 1/4 oz Absinthe
  • Garnish: lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Pour the absinthe into a coupe glass and swirl to coat the inside. 
  2. Toss the absinthe and set the glass aside.
  3. Add all other ingredients to a mixing glass or cocktail shaker and fill with 3/4 ice.
  4. Stir until chilled, then strain into the coupe 
  5. Garnish.
