Peppermintini

 

 

Ingredients

  • 4 peppermint candy canes
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 4 oz white chocolate liqueur
  • 2 oz vanilla vodka
  • 2 oz half-and-half
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Garnish: ground peppermint candy (rimmed)

Instructions 

  1. Crush the four peppermint candies using a rolling pin or the flat end of a meat tenderizer. Place ground peppermint in a small plate or tray with edges. 
  2. Apply simple syrup to the edge of a martini glass. 
  3. Roll the edge of the martini glass in the crushed peppermint to garnish the rim of the glass. 
  4. In a shaker, combine the white chocolate liqueur, vanilla vodka, half-and-half, and vanilla extract with several cubes of ice (more than 1/2 full) and shake well until mixed and chilled. 
  5. Strain into a martini glass and serve.
