Penicillin


Ingredients

  • 2 oz Blended Scotch Whiskey
  • 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz honey syrup
  • 1/4 oz Lagavulin single-malt Scotch whisky
  • 2-3 slices (quarter sized) of fresh ginger
  • Garnish: candied ginger slices

Instructions

  1. Muddle the fresh ginger in a shaker.
  2. Add all other ingredients except for the single-malt whisky. 
  3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.
  4. Double-strain into a chilled old-fashioned glass with ice.
  5. Float the single malt whisky to the top.
  6. Garnish.
