New York Sour


Ingredients

  • 2 oz Bourbon Whiskey
  • 3/4 oz Simple syrup
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz Red wine (Shiraz or Malbech)
  • A few drops of egg white
  • Garnish: lemon/orange zest with a cherry 

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. 
  2. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with ice. 
  3. Float the wine to the top.
  4. Garnish.
