Mojito


Ingredients

  • 2 oz White Cuban Rum
  • 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
  • 6 mint leaves
  • 1 1/2 - 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • Club Soda
  • Garnish: none

Instructions 

  1. Muddle the mint leaves several times with the sugar in the bottom of a highball or Collins glass.
  2. Add ice to the glass followed by rum and club soda.
  3. Stir slowly to mix 
  4. Garnish with mint sprig.

Note: Do not over-muddle the mint leaves so they break into tiny pieces, just enough to release the fragrance, etc.
